The Farm At Sunnyside maintains an extensive orchard in which we grow multiple apple varieties (including Gold Rush, Pristine, Liberty and Enterprise), two types of sweet cherries (Bing and Lapin), Asian pears and peaches. We also specialize in small fruit with approximately two acres planted in blackberries.
The Farm at Sunnyside is located 70 miles west-southwest of Washington DC along the edge of Shenandoah National Park. The farm's objective is to grow food while preserving and increasing biodiversity. Watch the video.
The Farm at Sunnyside is pleased to announce that we will be at the Reston Farmers' Market starting May 4. Please come visit us there on Saturday mornings for a wide selection of fresh produce and value-added selections! (We will no longer be at the farmers' market in Crystal City.)
